PINES Library Directors,
This message contains important information regarding year-end reporting from the PINES system as needed for audit purposes. Information for libraries using the GPLS Agreed-Upon Procedures, and information for libraries using private auditors is listed separately below:
If you have GPLS AUP:
I spoke with Tracy Arner (GPLS Auditor)about what billing information she will ask of you for the FY09 audit. Tracy and Randy will not require patron billing information for this audit. Therefore, you will not need to run a snapshot billing report at the end of the business day on June 30, 2009.
Tracy Arner's email is tarner@georgialibraries.org if you need to ask her any questions about this.
If you have a Private Audit:
Tracy said you will probably be required to provide detailed patron billing information. Therefore, you will need to run reports for this at the end of the closing day on June 30, 2008.
There is a shared folder called "Audits" and another folder under that called "Aged Debt" where you should be able to get what you need. The templates I recommend running would be "Audits - Balance Currently Owed By Patrons, Filtered By Home Lib and Transaction Start Time" located in the Audits folder and "Unrecovered Debt - By Patrons Home Lib (in list) and Transaction Start Date (On or Before)" located under the Aged Debts folder.
Please open a helpdesk ticket if you need any help with any reports. We are more than happy to assist you with your individual needs concerning audits and any other reporting.
This message was sent to the PINES Directors. Please forward to your staff that need to know about this.
