New Developments

WGRL site visit
Chris Sharp and I, along with Don McMorris, Karen Schneider and Shae Tetterton from Equinox, had the opportunity to conduct an all-day site visit with the good folks at the West Georgia Regional Library System. We visited the Neva Lomason Memorial Library and spent time with Jim Cooper, Roni Tewksbury, Jen Parker, Laurie Eubanks and Jacine Harrison.

We witnessed first-hand some of the problems they have been experiencing, specifically with Holds, Billing and Circ. We will soon be building a page on the PINES site where we will post reports from our site visits, plus much more. So stay tuned for more details from the WGRL plus reports from (5) forthcoming site visits.

Equinox Meeting
Julie Walker, Elizabeth McKinney and I met with Karen, Shae, Brad, Mike and Jason from Equinox this week in order to address issues and priorities. We were able to clarify some questions I had as I continue to hack away at the list! My goal is to get familiar enough with the outstanding issues quickly so as to triage them into a plan where we can get some quick stuff out of the way.
