This is an experimental workaround for Local System Administrators who are administering multiple Windows User Accounts on a single computer using the Evergreen Staff Client. Each individual staff client has a profile folder that is able to be copied from one Windows User profile to another. This has not been thoroughly tested and may result in breakage of functionality. However, here is the directory path for that folder for each user (replace "[username]" with the actual name of the user profile):
C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\OpenILS\open_ils_staff_client\Profiles
In that folder you will see another folder that looks like this:

The name of the folder will be a random string of characters followed by ".default".
These instructions assume that you are using Windows XP, and that you have installed the Evergreen Staff Client and that each profile has run the Evergreen Staff Client before (if not, the profile folders may not exist).
1. Designate one Windows user account to be your "master" profile, which will be copied over to the others. In this example, the master profile is from the Administrator account. Open the Evergreen Staff Client and register a workstation using this account.
2. Navigate to the Profiles folder (C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\OpenILS\open_ils_staff_client\Profiles) and right click on the profile you would like to copy (there may be multiple profiles on your station, depending on previous use of the "-profilemanager" function). Click Copy.
3. Navigate to one of your other Windows user accounts (in this case, "Chris") to the Profiles folder there. You will see a similar folder with a different random string followed by ".default":

4. Paste your original profile folder into the folder, so that there are two (please remember which is which!!). Right click on the target user's profile folder and select Rename. Then copy the name of that folder.

5. Now delete the folder whose name you just copied. Right click on the remaining folder and select Rename, pasting in the name of the now-deleted profile folder. This folder has the same content as the "master" profile, but the name of the other user's profile. Repeat this process for each Windows user account that accesses the Evergreen Staff Client.
You should now be able to go into the duplicated profiles and run the staff client normally, each with the same workstation.
Warning: Please make sure your users are completely logged off of their Evergreen sessions before the next user account is logged in.
