Recent PINES System Problems

Over the past few weeks, the PINES system has been experiencing some serious technical issues which are the result of some hardware and software changes that were necessary to make.  This has resulted in system instability, especially around 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. when the system is normally at its busiest, and in the worst cases, system downtime. 

The PINES staff of the Georgia Public Library Service have been working with our system administrators at Equinox Software to troubleshoot and solve these problems that have resulted in disruptions in library service. 

We will continue to make every effort to prevent any system problems that will affect our library service both inside PINES libraries or for patrons using our system from home.  Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience these problems have caused.
