Printing Pull Lists in Evergreen

There are four different options for formatting and printing the Holds Pull List for a library.  All four begin by going to Circulation -> Pull List for Hold Requests.

Option 1: Print from Holds list that appears when you enter the interface.

  1. Use the column picker to display the columns you would like to see
  2. Click List Actions -> Save List CSV to File and name the file something like "holds-2013-10-29.csv'
  3. Open the file in Excel (or LibreOffice Calc) and use Excel's sorting facility to sort the columns the way you need them
  4. Print the list from Excel.

PROS: customizable; full title is displayed

CONS:
requires several steps to complete; requires a third-party application

Option 2: Print Full Pull List

  1. Go to Admin -> Local Administration -> Copy Locations Order to set the order in which you would like the hold list to print.  This allows you to customize the hold list to match the physical layout of your library.  NOTE: even if you'd like to keep the default order listed, click "Apply Changes" to save it.
  2. Click Print Full Pull List.  This may take a minute or two to generate.
  3. Select the printer and print the list.
