PINES 2.5 Upgrade - Testing

Please join us in testing the updated OPAC and Evergreen Staff Client prior to the next upgrade. Thorough testing helps to identify and resolve problems before the upgrade date, and is invaluable for ensuring a smooth transition to the new version.

Testing Process:

  1. Sign up for the PINES-TESTING-L mailing list. (Please use your work email address to register for the mailing list. If you do not have a work email address and you must use Gmail or another service, please send an email to Terran McCanna, PINES Program Manager, at tmccanna@georgialibraries.org with your name, email address, and library system.)
  2. Download and install the test version of the Evergreen staff client software (see below).
  3. Go through as many of the testing checklists (see below) as you are able to. Report bugs and unexpected behaviors to the PINES-TESTING-L mailing list as you find them so that the PINES team can begin work on them immediately.
  4. All testing must be complete by December 13.
