====== Policies Impacting Acquisitions ======

PINES libraries [shall] use the acquisitions module on a voluntary basis. [2000.09]

On-order holds to continue [past the original pilot] and that other interested PINES libraries using Acquisitions module should move forward with on-order holds. [2019.12]

Non-Acquisitions copies (circulating copies) are not to remain or be moved to Acquisitions records. All circulating copies should be on good OCLC records with a TCN beginning with **ocm**,**ocn**, or **on**.

A library using on-order holds must use their ON ORDER shelving location and the **on-order** or **on-order3** circulation modifier until items are in hand and cataloged.
