PINES remains down today as Information Technology Services (ITS) and the USG Board of Regents leadership work on ways to restore all the services they host across the University System. ITS has identified the root cause of the problem and is actively working on a fix with the vendor, but are not able to provide a time estimate.
PINES libraries remain open with normal hours so you may still check out materials, use the computers, and take advantage of your library’s many other services. However, items may not be renewed or fines paid until full service is restored.
Our colleagues at Georgia Download Destination (GADD) have put in a request to bypass PINES authentication for Libby, so access to Libby may potentially be restored before PINES access is restored.
Although GALILEO is not available with your PINES login at this time, it may still be accessed from within any PINES library.
