Excel does not know how to handle the long numbers in PINES barcodes, and will shorten them in scientific notation:

To correct this:

1. Right-click on the column header containing the barcodes.
2. Choose Format Cells….
3. Navigate to the Number tab.
4. Change the Category to Number.
5. Change the Decimal Places to 0.
6. Click OK.
