As of December 2017 there are only a few PINES policies that specifically affect Acquisitions. These are:

1. There have been no policy decisions on whether to allow on-order holds in the catalog. Since using this functionality would affect all PINES libraries, a decision will have to be made by the PINES Executive Committee before this can be implemented.
2. On-order acquisitions records are not to remain in the catalog once the item has been received. See Cataloging with Acquisitions.
